If you look from afar or on a map, Pomurje does not seem like a big area. But if you set a point from where you want to begin your exploration, the area becomes wide and diverse. Step in front of our gigapan and journey through its hidden and slightly less hidden corners, zoom in and take a closer look to decide where to go when you leave the Expano pavilion.
Neurospa
Despite being far from the sea, Pomurje is a destination that provides an abundance of water-related activities. From spas to potable mineral waters and even to still visible remnants of the Pannonian Sea. Learn about the aquatic richness of our region and test whether your concentration is strong enough to physically move water with a special EEG device.
Magical clearing
The forests, clearings, and oxbow lakes of the River Mura in Pomurje are brimming with life. Many animal and plant species have found and made their home in protected natural areas of the Pomurje region. You may find some of them in the magical forest in Expano if you listen to the silence and wait patiently for them to appear in their holographic version.

Pomurje has always been characterized by the music, stories, and images created by its inhabitants. We have captured the recognizable softness of their creations in two spaces - pots. Sit inside and let your senses guide you through our region or create your own piece of art that will carry the spirit of our plains.
Panofly
A few decades ago, a real high-altitude balloon landed in a quiet and remote village in the Prekmurje region called Ženavlje. Though the landing did not go according to plan and was dictated by fickle weather conditions, the Belgian scientist, peeking out of the balloon’s interior, later became the stuff of stories, and the inhabitants of Ženavlje still remember him to this day. Put on the virtual reality glasses and enjoy the flight over Pomurje as experienced by Max Cosyns himself!
