TNC PETERLOUG

The rooms offered by the modernly equipped hostel are used for many occasions, such as outdoor schools, education, seminars, workshops, various meetings, trainings and team-buildings.

In Peterloug, you can find rooms with shared beds, family rooms with private toilets and showers, kitchen, dining room and multipurpose room with TV and LCD projector, terrace, covered picnic area, open fireplace, outdoor football, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor exercise equipment, an amphitheater, a bicycle shed, 2 mountain e-bikes and an electric charging station.

Parking and wheelchair access are also arranged.

The additional value of the center is certainly its location within the landscape park Goričko and the Natura2000 area, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the border with Porabje, where you can explore the life of the Slovenian minority in Hungary. The curious will also find our center interesting as the starting or ending point of the Goričko under the stars astronomical learning trail. A professional telescope is available for a successful mentor, and we also offer guided night sky viewing. In the nearby area, we also offer a tour of the Border Museum - the first such museum in Slovenia, in which you learn about the protection of the border from 1919 to the present day. Groups of individuals interested in cultural heritage can be taken to the nearby Ethnographic House, which exhibits old objects and represents a treasure trove of customs and daily tasks of long-forgotten crafts. Nature lovers can be directed to one of the many themed hiking or cycling trails. With the colorful range of options we offer, we invite you to the Peterloug Tourist and Accommodation Center, where you walk hand in hand with nostalgia and the prospect of a future when man and nature will once again be able to coexist in harmony.
