Časar's Mill
This is a cultural-technical monument to the milling industry of Pomurje, which used to mill golden seeds into flour and press pumpkin oil. The tour of the mill takes you back to the past and shows you what rural life was like in the mid 1900s.
Časaorv mlin (Časar's Mill) is a protected cultural-technical monument of Slovenia. It preserves renovated mechanical equipment of the milling industry.
A guided tour of the museum takes you back to the times of our grandfathers and shows you the mighty technical knowledge from days past. The wood gas powered machine and the Francis turbine are especially interesting.
The mill is located in the valley of Ratkovski potok providing for an excellent opportunity to use the idyllic setting and the ethnological collection and learn about the items our ancestors used in everyday rural life. Educational and interesting!
