Hundertwasser & Hasegawa - Orient & Okzident

The exhibition ‘Orient & Okzident’ shows masterpieces of graphic art by Hundertwasser and Hasegawa in a contrasting juxtaposition. On their example, as artists of the 20th century, influences and interactions of Japanese and European culture in modern art are illustrated. Both raised their interests in the other, foreign culture nearly at the same time in the beginning of the 60ies and got inspired by new techniques and ways of expressing.
